Born in Baton Rouge, but raised in Cut-N-Shoot, Texas, John Bruce has learned the art of personal interaction. In fact, that is the aspect of his job that he enjoys the most. John has been in the title business for over 30 years. He started his career in title insurance working in the file room and eventually grew through the ranks of a top national underwriter into a position as a multi-property, multi-state specialist in their national accounts division. It was in 1987 that John found his niche as a commercial closer. In 1993, John relocated to Austin, where he continued his history of outstanding service to both his clients and community. John's local involvement includes serving as President of his neighborhood Homeowners' Association, Commissioner of the Cedar Park Planning and Zoning Commission, member of the Real Estate Council of Austin, volunteering as Chairman of the State of Texas Fair and Rodeo BBQ cook-off, Chairman of the Certification Committee for the Texas Land Title Association, Chairman of the Federal Issues Committee, member of the American Land Title Association's Education Committee, Texas Land Title Association's Basic Manual Task Force and Regulatory Committee, Agent Section Chair and Board Member of the Texas Land Title Association.

Whether fulfilling his needs of his community and industry or guaranteeing the satisfaction of his clients, John approaches every task with a strong desire for accuracy and a determination toward continued excellence. John is a past recipient of Texas Land Title Association's awards for "Young Title Person of the Year" in 1992 and "Professional Excellence Award" in 2010.  John is one the few title insurance professionals in Texas to receive TLTA's accreditation of Certified Title Insurance Associate. Additionally, he was awarded the National Title Professional designation by the American Land Title Association in 2013. He is the 1st title professional in Texas to receive the National Title Professional designation and the 9th in the nation.

John is a proud husband and father of four children. In his spare time, John can be found boating and relaxing on the lake.
