Commercial Escrow Assistant – Order Entry
The Escrow Assistant – Order Entry is responsible for the critical first steps of the escrow process. This position processes new orders, resolving discrepancies by using standard procedures or returning incomplete documents to department manager for resolution. This position provides support to a team of escrow officers.
Essential Duties
- Originate all new orders
- Complete data entry and send to title plant for processing
- Detailed review of incoming real estate contracts
- Receive, process and distribute contracts to all parties
- Deposit earnest money
- Review orders for completeness and establish entry priorities
Requirements:
- 1 year of commercial escrow experience, preferably opening orders
- Strong attention to detail
- Expert computer skills including working with Outlook, Word and Excel
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines
