This course familiarizes the licensee with the paragraphs within the 1-4 Residential Contract and takes a closer look into common errors, the meaning and use of each paragraph, and how to properly fill out the contract. Participants will leave with a better understanding of the 1-4 Residential Contract, commonly used addenda, and the impact of the various provisions.

Every license holder’s responsible for knowing and operating under the current laws applicable to their license. The course covers the requirements Texas law places upon all license holders. Topics include Canons of Professional Ethics and Conduct, Agency and Disclosure requirements, VA loans, and TREC license law enforcement including case study illustrations.
Legal Update I
It is every license holder’s responsibility to know and operate under the current laws applicable to their license. The course covers Texas law’s requirements for all license holders regarding changes to TREC Rules, the License Act, TREC Contracts, Addenda, and Fair Housing conduct when facilitating a real estate transaction.
